The journey so far
We saw the friction in European financial systems and knew something had to change. Our founders set out to build infrastructure that would make payments simple, fast, and transparent.
Foundation
ToriiPay founded with mission to build Request to Pay infrastructure for Europe. Initial prototype built on SEPA Instant and ISO 20022 standards.
Validation
Secured seed funding. Launched pilot programs with first banking partners and businesses. Achieved SEPA compliance and ISO 20022 certification.

Łukasz Kłos is the Co-Founder and CEO of ToriiPay, a global payments infrastructure company bridging today’s fragmented systems with seamless future money movement.
He started his career in banking at HSBC and Alior Bank, gaining firsthand insight into financial growth and the limitations of legacy payment systems.
After working at several fintech startups, he founded ToriiPay to simplify complex, fragmented payment ecosystems.
Inspired by the Japanese Torii, a gateway between worlds, ToriiPay reflects Łukasz’s interest in Japanese culture and his practice of Karate.
Lukasz Jastrzab is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at ToriiPay, with 17 years of experience in banking and payments, turning complex market needs into scalable products and reliable systems.
He began his career in Poland’s largest banks, PKO BP and Pekao SA, before moving to HSBC, gaining an international perspective on how money moves and where legacy payment infrastructure creates friction.
At ToriiPay, he shapes product strategy and builds the roadmap that connects customer problems, regulatory realities, and engineering execution—so the platform is easy to integrate, resilient in production, and built to scale.
Off the clock, Lukas enjoys long-distance motorcycle travel and has ridden across five continents—journeys that deepened his cultural appreciation, resilience, and adaptability in unfamiliar environments.
Marcin Banasiak is the Founding Engineer and CTO at ToriiPay, designing modern enterprise architecture for banking and payment infrastructure.
He began his career at large software houses delivering projects for banks, the public sector, and leading insurers across Poland and Europe.
Having worked across the full spectrum of roles, from software engineer and architect to team leader, he now combines decades of experience in AI, cloud, and scalable enterprise systems to turn technology into stable, production-grade products.
Outside of work, he explores analog photography and builds digital tools that support an analog workflow.
